Young and dynamic, this red wine is an easy-to-drink blend of Syrah and Merlot grapes. Best served chilled in order to fully enjoy its finesse and elegance. Grapes are harvested exclusively from our vineyards in Farneta di Cortona. Vinification process: once the grapes are harvested, they are placed in steel vats at controlled temperatures for about 15 days, during which time the alcoholic fermentation takes place.
This is followed by a few days of soft maceration on the skins to keep the freshness and acidity in the must alive. The wine is then racked and skins are pressed, after which malolactic fermentation takes place in steel tanks spontaneously, without the inoculation of malolactic bacteria. The wine is aged for at least 12 months in steel tanks and then for another 3 months in bottle before being introduced onto the market.
